NHS IN INDIA - A collaboration to achieve the world's most efficient healthcare system delivering available, accountable and affordable care with outstanding results to every patient, every time!

The UK visit of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi in November 2015 resulted in a further strengthening of the relationships between India and the UK through the signing of almost £ 9 bn in commercial deals and partnerships.

Partnerships have been formed with UK’s leading healthcare specialists in the areas of healthcare delivery, education, research and manufacturing including Healthcare UK (part of the Department of Health and UK Trade Industry), NHS Hospital Trusts, UK Architects/Masterplanners and healthcare planners to build eleven Indo UK Insititutes of Health.

These are of the highest global standards in terms of ethos, standards of care, state of the art facilities, equipment and medical staff training.

A number of the world’s leading NHS Healthcare Trusts have expressed interest in partnering with the Indo UK Institute of Health.  Additional benefits of this collaboration will include an enhanced academic research potential via the Academic Health Science Centre, a strong NHS ethos of quality, fairness and respect along with educational and training opportunities.
